SPOKANE, WASHINGTON – The Spokane Shock have announced the signings of former Auburn University QB Jeremy Johnson and LB Greg Hall Jr.
The former high school All-American and Alabama's 2012 Mr. Football, Johnson spent the 2018 season quarterbacking the Columbus Lions. He finished in the NAL's top-10 in Total Offense, Total Offense Yards, Passing Yards, Pass Attempts, Pass Completions, Passing TDs and Rushing. At the University of Auburn, Johnson played in 2013 before startign at quarterback during the 2014 season. Johnson finished his career at Auburn throwing for 2,224 yards and 20 touchdowns. He also rushed for nine touchdowns.
A third-year pro, Hall spent the past two seasons playing for the Columbus Lions. In 2019, Hall finished in the NAL's top-25 for tackles (39.0) and in the top-10 for sacks (5.5) and Tackles for Loss (8.5). Prior to joining the Lions, Hall played for Appalachian State University in 2012 before transferring to the University of North Georgia for the 2013 season. Hall joined Auburn University as a walk-on during the 2014 season. He later earned a scholarship and primarly saw special teams action thoughout his collegiate career.
In his rookie season in the NAL, Hall averaged nearly a sack per game while finishing in the top-10 for Forced Fumbles and Recovered Fumbles.
