SPOKANE, WASHINGTON – The Spokane Shock announced the signing of offensive lineman Troy Bacon and FCS All-American Ra'Quanne Dickens.
Bacon, a Southern California native spent his final two years of eligibility starring at Rocky Mountain College, earning first team all-Frontier Conference honors as a junior and all-American honors as a senior. Bacon played two seasons at Boise State before transferring to Portland State where he also starred in track and field.
Dickens was a standout running back who led the University of Incarnate Word Cardinals to their first Southland Conference championship while earning first team all-league honors and making two All-American teams. Dickens' 1,117 yards rushing set the UIC school-record and included two 200-yard games. His 90- and 79-yard runs were the conference's two longest of the season and he registered a 50+ yard touchdown run in each of the first four games. The Seminole, Florida native's rushing total topped the conference, as did his 14 touchdowns.
